Dreams and Studies

Hello everyone! Today I am going to write  about my dreams and my studies.

When I was a child I dreamed of being a supermarket cashier, because I loved the way the machine sounded when passing the codes. In fact, I had my own toy cash register.


When I was about 8 years old I went to the dentist and I loved his work from the beginning. Since this experience I wanted to study Odontology. 



After, when I had to decide my career I only had Odontology in mind. If I didn't get the required score I wanted to prepare  another year and try again. Finally  I came true my dream.



My university experience has been strange with online classes, but I really like that we do practical work anyway. Besides, I have a group of friends with whom we do transcripts to facilitate the study, so not everything is bad. 



In the future I would like to work with patients in the public service and spend part of my time in the research area.

    OMG I also wanted to be a supermarket cashier when I was a kid. Do you like your career subjects?

      Yes I love them. Although my favorite so far is the skills subject. And do you like the subjects?

    Hi Camila. It's really good that you could achieve your dream. What was the most important thing about your visit to the dentist that made you want to study dentistry?

      Mhm, I think the most important thing was that I regained the confidence, before the brackets I was ashamed to smile.

    How great that you like the area of research! And have you thought about where you could develop that area?

      I haven't really thought about where I could develop the research area, maybe in the same University there are spaces but I do not know much about it yet.

Postgraduate studies

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to tell you about some postgraduate courses that I would like to take in the future. Well, I'm really not sure yet about the speciality I want to study, right now everything interests me too much. However, the postgraduate courses that I like the most are orthodontics and orthopedics dento maxilo facial and legal and forensic dentistry. I'd like to do any of those courses because I'd love to expand and specialize my knowledge about dentistry. On the one hand, I like orthodontics because the work is really practical and methodical. And on the other hand, I like forensic dentistry because of the investigation and analysis that each case involves. I'd like to study abroad, preferably in an English-speaking country, because it'd help me improve my english and allow me to express better my ideas. Finally, if I could do my postgraduate studies, I'd like a blended system, so as not to stop attending to my patients during the 2 or 3

My favourite piece of technology

Hi everyone! Today I am going to write about my favorite piece of technology: the tablet. The first time I had one in my hands was when I was about 12 years old. My parents gave it to me as a Christmas gift and I was very impressed with so much technology. The tablet is a touch screen laptop. Its use is really easy because  if you connect to a wi-fi network you can access the internet and install many applications. And like phones, with your fingers you manage the screen, although now some come with a special pencil. I use the tablet to distract myself and study, for the same reason I use it almost every day because from there I read study guides, books and PPT files.  I like this object because it has multiple uses, it's easy to move and it allows me to read articles easily. However, if I didn't have a tablet, it wouldn't be so comfortable and easy to study everywhere and I would have to find another way to do it. Regards! See you soon.
